A plumbing or heating emergency can strike anytime without warning. We don’t want you stuck with a burst pipe at night or without heat when it’s freezing, which is why our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week — for our established customers.

Our technicians will advise you over the phone of any immediate steps to take before they arrive. If the technician doesn’t feel the situation is a true emergency, he will advise you and schedule the call during regular business hours.

We reserve “emergency customer service” for our regular customers only. We are not the backup for your plumber on vacation or your moonlighting heating technician who is too busy.

Darryl & Heidi Townsend Owners

Darryl and Heidi Townsend have been a team since they were married in 1990 at Camp Lejeune, the Marine Corps base in North Carolina. They live, raise their children, and operate Rock Coast Plumbing and Heating in beautiful Mid Coast Maine.

Darryl is a college graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, where he studied community health education and played on the men’s soccer team, earning his Bachelor’s in Community Health & Secondary Science in 1989. During college he worked part-time with a close friend in the plumbing and heating field. Darryl is a United States Marine and served in the first Persian Gulf War in 1990.

In 1995 Darryl & Heidi began their plumbing & heating company, Townsend Plumbing. In 1998 they established Rock Coast Plumbing and Heating, forming loyal and respectful relationships with customers and contractors from Thomaston to Monhegan Island and surrounding communities.

We can find a solution for every plumbing and heating job with our combined years of experience in the plumbing, heating & mechanical field. Our regular customers know that we will be there for them 24/7/365, no matter what time of day or night.
